Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

I live in Seattle now, but there was a time when I was living in Little Rock and this was a must go place for pizza, beer and a salad. So comfortable to be in the booth and drinking a Bud Lite relaxing enjoying the moment. This place makes me homesick for Little Rock and hasn't really changed. It's not going to be a gourmet pizza, but I really like this place. You just have to get one of the booths and just relax and live for the moment.

The food here is decent, but the price is too high for what it offers. Expect to spend about 15 bucks per person for an average dinner.

I love the outside patio, great cute little Restaurant. Always have had great service. Glutenfree, veggie etc options. Pizza isn't bad just not the greatest its thin crust and lacking flavor, but the experiance of having a beer and some pizza on the patio makes up for it.

I've been wanting to eat pizza for several days, so while I was out today, I saw this little spot and decided to stop. Service is perfect. Quick to bring my cold beer. Don't judge, I'm from Louisiana. We drink during breakfast. Anyway, ordered cheese bread/sticks and a slice of pizza. Had to save room for my beer. Cheese sticks came out quickly, hot & tasty with a side of marinara sauce. Pizza slice wasn't long afterward. Pizza was good. Nothing to write home about. Will I be back? Sure. The beer was nice and cold.

My husband could eat their pepperoni pizza every night. While I'm not quite as enthused, it is a nice casual atmosphere with a good patio and a decent selection of pizzas and salads. And I have to say, I do really enjoy their fresh Sunshine Salad.

Awesome pizza! Reminded me of my favorite hole-in-the-walls back home in Memphis. Enjoyed the crust, thin, but not super crunchy... Just right.

This is, hands down, the BEST pizza in Little Rock. The thin, buttery crust is the perfect delivery device for the tasty ingredients. I love Pizza Cafe! At lunch, you can get pizza by the slice, and my favorite lunch is a slice of pepperoni and a side Caesar salad. (If I'm not working, I might add a beer...) This is not a trendy, upscale establishment, but a fun little pizzeria with a definite neighborhood feel that is clearly locally owned. You can sit inside or outside on a covered patio. Both are very pleasant. I also absolutely LOVE to come here on a Sunday for a late afternoon pizza and a beer with my husband. It's so comfortable and casual here. They'll make the pies to order, the wait is not too long, and we always feel so relaxed and happy to be enjoying the day in this cozy pizza place and bar.

Solid Casual Option. The pizza cafe food is good and reliable, but not exceptional. Its a simple place - and they are happy to tailor their pizzas to meet your needs, but the service isn't fantastic. Its VERY casual and they have a great patio for you so sit somewhat outside. The prices are very reasonable.

Honey with the crusts is the unique feature of this hole in the wall pizza place - I never thought to do that until they served it with honey packets starting over a decade ago. Great thin crust, crispy on the outside, and good quality cheese. Craft beers available here too, most often I seem to get something from Boulevard brewing. Seating is very, very limited so come early or late.

Manager had a nasty attitude about my dog sitting on the patio. PS a dog on the patio is not against health code. I don't know what the food is like but I will not be going back to try it.

Pizza Cafe is a nice casual place. Their veggie sandwich is tasty. You can sit outside on the covered deck while enjoying a beer and pizza. Easy parking.
